I think, Tehnics are perfect for robots, if you look closer most of parts that make my creations look steamy are technics.

Sounds like a disaster!! ;) I know you could make a cool lego gun, but I would not be the best mech maker :) I better stick to painting...but painting legos does sound like a challenge!

so buy some cheap action figures and make new out of them. You cold as well buy some fake "Chinese" lego.
