Steampunk winter goggolesby ~Maroventolo

This is my first 100% self made goggles pair. Earlier I only used to customize already bought ones.
They were an Christmas present for a friend of mine. I recently introduced her to steampunk and she liked it a lot, so I decided to make something what's obligatory for every steampunk lady/gentleman : goggles.

Eye pieces are made of leather which I boiled in bee wax to make it harder. Brighter leather pieces with blue stone like rivets are from some old woman gloves. Also I used fur instead of stuffed leather for edges to make it more winter themed. The belt is fully self made from pieces i bought in sewing shop. Lenses are taken from sunglasses and sanded to fit the frames. They are removable.

They are very light and comfortable.
